Fairmount Market in Bangor

April 3, 2020The Pizza sold to me at about 4:00PM today was cooked-to-order and had plenty of toppings. The guys there were polite and generous.The place is clean.

Not just the best in the area, but the best in Maine!! I live 3 hours away and anytime I'm in Bangor I have to stop in to get a chicken salad sub. Absolutely the best!!!!

Dirty, rude management, unsanitary food preparation - stay away would be my advice!

Been going here as a regular customer for a long time without issues but lately some of the staff will talk about the customers and think the customers have no idea what they are doing which is rude. Also think they should wear plastic gloves or atleast wash their hands when making food.

Most of the time when I would go here the food was always made wrong. I would have to wait for it to me made again and one time had to have my sandwiches remade 4 times in a row before getting it right. The kid remaking the sandwiches was really immature and dumb. Would always try to mess around and thought it was funny even though it pissed me off. I did not enjoy the jokes when they kept messing up my orders.

I grew up in the area but moved 3.5 hours away and ANY time in around we always stop for pizza and subs best pizza I’ve had it’s one of he best place around the people are great and there potato wedges are even better 10/10 would recommend

Ordered a large chicken BLT. Bread was fresh, chicken was so dry it took me nearly a full minute to chew it up enough to swallow. Pasta salad had very little flavor as well. Not sure what all the hype is about fairmount market, but they certainly haven't lived up to the recommendations of the locals.

Best morning crew, but worst night crew I've ever dealt with. Ignorant, lazy, dirty kids that work there. What a disgrace to the good name the store has most of the time, just the worst pick of night time workers there is. Do not eat there after 2pm on any day you will get mistreated and given an empty sandwich, or even the wrong one! Everything in the entire store is way overpriced, and there is no management or customer service.

Fairmount market has got the best pizza in Bangor!!! Hands down. Big floppy cheesy gooey pies... if you're looking for quality, you'll find it here.

Top 3 best pizza in Bangor and GREAT price. Can get a large 2 topping for 11.50 an its top notch. They make great sandwiches too

Today I was sick due to the HEAT a man in the sandwich area asked me if I was alright. I said no im sick. Before I could say because of the heat he walked off. Bet he thought I was dope sick. Wrong!! Luckily a lady saw me and gave me a ride home

Since the store has had new ownership the sandwiches and pizza is way down in quality, quantity and taste! They have lost us as customers! Also still a little bit pricey compare to some other places.

Pizza there sucks, dirty environment, the assistant manager is rude, the deli isn't that good, and their sandwiches are not worth buying. After their assistant manager was rather rude to me at 3 different times they lost my business for ever.

My boyfriend and I would come here time to time and wouldn’t have any problems but today I ordered the chicken salad like I always do, and there was a bone in it!!! I had to pull it out of my mouth!! The lady serving us was rude, her tone said she didn’t want to be there and deal with us and felt like we were wasting her time. We won’t be going back.

SUCKS ASS LITERALLY THE WORST "CHICKEN FINGERS" i HAVE EVER HAD, AND i'VE HAD SOME BAD CHICKEN FINGERS. EWWWW GROSS!

Great neighborhood store. Can always get pizza, chips and soda for 4 for under $20. Friendly and quick.

The sandwiches are so good and full of meat and what ever you order even if its chicken saild or even egg salid there full. The salids are amazine and big and good priced too.
